Helen Hunt will star in A Good Woman, playing a seductress who steals the husband of a younger woman played by Scarlett Johansson.
The film, to be directed by Michael Barker (Best Laid Plans), will shoot in Sorrento, Italy, in October. Scripted by Howard Himelstein, "Woman" is inspired by the Oscar Wilde play "Lady Windermere's Fan." There's no distributor aboard the film yet.
Hunt just starred on Broadway alongside John Turturro in "Life Times Three" and will do "Woman" right after she completes the Fred Schepisi-directed HBO adaptation of the Richard Russo novel Empire Falls.
Johansson just starred with John Travolta in A Love Song for Bobby Long, and The Perfect Score and Girl With a Pearl Earring.
